Work : EADS-Astrium
I have now been at Astrium for 26 years, joining it originally when it was Marconi Space and seeing it grow through mergers and acquisition to include the major space companies in Europe. It is now fully owned by EADS and sits alongside Eurocopter and Airbus.
Most of my involvement over the years has been with the equipments that form the building blocks for the payload. Having been involved in a range of hardware spanning Communications, Remote Sensing, Navigation and Science missions. For the last 8 years I have had the interesting role of Chief Engineer for UK Payload Equipments.
Astrium is Europe’s largest Space Company and the third largest in the World. This is an exciting place to work.
